JEDER 6. MENSCH AUF DER WELT IST EIN INDER

Die Indische Elite sieht die Bundesrepublik Indiens als eine Supermacht auf der Welt an.  Indien hat eine der stärksten und größten Armeen und ist in manchen wirtschaftsbranchen weltweit sehr bedeutend.
Trotzdem sind die Anzeichen eines Entwicklungslandes nicht zu übersehen. Über 40% der Bevölkerung leben unter Armutsgrenze,es mangelt an Primärbildung und Gesundheitswesen. Laut  Statistiken sterben jährlich 2 Mill. Kinder vor Vollendung des 5ten. Lebensjahres. Es herrscht große Arbeitslosigkeit und soziale Ungleichheit, welche sich durch bestehendes Kasten System im Alltag  und in den verschiedenen Lebenskontexten deutlich macht. Ausserdem steht Indien vor einem großen Problem.. die Bevölkerung wächst sich enorm. Gibt es einen Ausweg für Indien? sodass alle Menschen soziale Sicherung bekommen und dadurch die Armut bewältigt wird?  Ein weiteres soziales Problem in Indien ist die Unterprivilegierung der Frauen. Frauen haben kein Mitspracherecht , müssen die Last und Sorgen der Familie alleine tragen und wegen der Kindstötung bei weiblichen Nachwuchs ihr ganzes Leben Leiden. Aber zum Glück gibt es viele kompetente Menschen in Indien, welche mit den Hilfsorganisationen z. B Andheri -Hilfe Bonn kooperieren und sich für die  Aufklärung, Unterstützung und Stärkung des Bewusstseins der benachteiligten Frauen arrangieren. Dank solcher Organisationen wie Andheri-Hilfe Bonn wurde  bei indischen Frauen die Hoffnung geweckt dass die nächste Generationen die Grausame Kindstötung an Töchtern,  Tempelprostitution  und Vergewaltigung nicht mehr erleben müssen.

CHINA A GOLDDIGGER OR A FAITHFUL WIFE?

Für viele Jahren hatte Afrika eine wirtschaftliche Beziehung mit Europa und USA bis China  ins Bild kam. China bat sehr attraktive Projekte für Afrika mit weniger Ansprüche  als die vorherige "Business Partners". China mischt sich  in afrikanischen Politik nicht und konzentriert sich nur auf den Erfolg dieser Projekte.
Gerade wegen solchen Einmischungen in den politische Angelegenheiten verloren Europa und USA ihre Beliebtheit bei Afrika. China verspricht nicht nur Entwicklungshilfe, aber auch Streichung der Auslandsschulden.
Ist diese Afrika-China Partnerschaft vorteilhaft für Afrika oder ist China hier der "Golddigger"?

Pen or Bullet???

There is  a very popular proverb in Indo-Nepalese society; '' A pen is more powerful than a sword''. That's why i believe that a journalist or a media person has the ability to influence  mass of people  or even to shake the parliament base. But nowadays this proverb can be modified as '' A pen is more powerful than a sword but not than a gun''.  If we observe the present situation in this world it is seen that more people  are involved in  shooting a gun or being shot rather than holding a pen.  It also can be justified by an example  which has also highlighted  global issues since a few months ago.

Thanks to Sevil Inal, for her a nice presentation titled '' Taksimplatz Istanabul- Türkei im Aufbruch''  In this years  Summer School 2013, organised by Stube Rheinland,where she explained about all that happened in Istanbul . Mr. Erdogan , the current Turkish prime minister used to have a very good image  until he made a bad decision on 28th May this year.  He ordered  police force to dismiss the sit-in protestors out of the park. Under his command the policemen tried to dismiss the protestors out of park by using tear gas and water cannons.  But what happened ?? On the following days the number of protesters  increased and even the protest started in other cities too. But is it good that protestors strike further all over the country and thousands of  people  continue to gather on the streets? Is it the right way to protest? On the other hand, is it the right way to dismiss the protestors by using armed forces against the empty handed peace loving sit-in protestors?? As we see ,in other countries like Syria, Libya or Egypt where thousands of people  have already been shot down or killed with fire or dangerous chemical weapons. May be even bullets wont  be able to stop those brave and angry protestors. Definitely those bullets and chemical weapons can finish all the protestors. Even these protestors are just  mobilized by opposing parties to make the ruling party weak. But when will these poor people realize that??? Shouldn't it be stopped that the poor civilians are being victims in a war between  the parties? Who is guilty? the prostestors or the greedy politicians??  No one can judge it and no one can decide it...

But would it not  be fair if  those issue are being  freely addressed  in front  of all peoples and where everyone would have equal rights to give his/her own opinions? So wouldn't it be possible for  journalists  to write about those  issues and publish them  in the media or broadcast it through visual media, so that there will  be no need for thousands of people to go on the  streets and be victims of  armed police force?? Or should Mr. Erdogan order his army to shoot the protestor with guns and tanker  with harmful chemical weapons?  Therefore if Pen is really the most powerful weapon , was it necessary for  hundred thousand of people to come out to park for sit in protest or was  it necessary for Mr. Erdogan and other state representative to order their Police to shoot out bullets and tear  gas on their own people and their voters ??
